Director’s Talk – Atsushi Ogata on his film “Eternally Yours”
Screening: 24 July 2007 at 17:20 (Short Films in Competition Programme 1, SF World Cinema 4)
Lecture and director talk: 25 July 2007 at 11:00 – 12:00 at room Lotus 7, Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World Plaza.
(Lecture and talk in English with Thai interpreter)
Atsushi Ogata is internationally known for his award winning art videos. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Advanced Visual Studies. In “Eternally Yours” he collaborates with Director of Photography Yuichi Nagata JSC, renowned for his work in such films as “Water Boys”. This film has just been screened in the “New Directors/New Films”, at the Museum of Modern Art and the Film Society of Lincoln Center New York City early this year, and in the end of August, “Eternally Yours” will also be screened at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in California, the largest short film festival in the US.
